I just received my shippment of pc and ssr2.5 .

Now, my heart is pounding to try it out. Before I go on, i want to make sure
I get the steps rite.
I have PC 7424 with 5" counterweight. and assorted LC pads(orange, white, black). and all poorboy's line of product(ssr2.5,ssr2,ssr1, PwC, Ex, natty's)

I planned out to use

-wash, clay

then

-SSR2.5 with orange cutting pad
-ssr1 with polishing pad
-pwc with polishing pad
-ex with finishing pad?(should I use polishing pad?)
-ex "
then maybe finish with nattys on finishing pad.

what do yuo guys think? above steps are for my brothers 98 accord which never been taken care of(lots of swirl marks all over and lots of scratch)

and now for my car(which was freshly painted last year, this car dont see winter, always garaged during wintertime)

this car have very micro scratchs from frequent car wash. pretty clean

I would go, after wash and clay

-ssr1 with orange cutting pad
-pwc with white polishing pad
-ex with polishing pad
and finish up with natty with finishing pad?

what do you guys think? Also this car, just because this car was repainted
the paints on the edges of the pillars are very thin thin, how can I avoid
peeling the paint out? im very scared of this, should I just not use the pc around the edges? or should I mask the edges on panels?

Please correct me and help me out. Thanks in Advance

Hello here is what you could do for the first car.

-Wash
-Clay
-Wash
-SSR2.5 with orange cutting pad
-ssr1 with polishing pad
-pwc with polishing pad **Dont use the same pad
-ex with finishing pad

You can do nattys with a finishing pad but not the same pad as the ex or do it by hand. Also wait 24 hours before topping the ex. You might want to do-

ex-wait 24 -qd or wash
ex-wait 24 -qd or wash
nattys-wait 24 -qd or wash
nattys-wait 24 -qd or wash

for the second car:

-ssr2 with polishing
-pwc with white polishing pad ***** different pad than ssr2
-ex with finishing pad
nattys by hand or finishing again dont mix products on pads

As for the thin paint i dont think you will have alot of trouble. Dont stay in one area for a long time especially with a cutting pad.
