just receive my FK1-425.Any tips??

you can use it over anything pretty much, durability is about 1 rain-free week. It is hard to tell for me honestly if it goes much longer than that as I drive a lot and dust accumulation is inevitable. It does seem to add a little gloss, but I use FK 1000P as a base so my finish already has a thick second clear-coat look to it.

Also, maybe it is just me, but I have streaking issues if used in sunlight/warm paint or humid conditions. I tend to apply it to a MF first, then wipedown the car. FX-100 was always finicky as well in this regard for me.

Hi all.Any tips about using FK1-425??can i use it over nuba??what is it's durability??

You can use it over just about any type of LSP. Durability isn't very good, but it goes on so easy, it really doesn't matter. You'll love the gloss and slickness it provides.

+1 on applying directly to the mf. it guarantees not using too much and makes it less grabby at the start. its a great qd and does reduce dust accumulation some when compared to all the other qd's (dg 521, quikshine, danase turbo detailer, oid)...

as you can see i like experimenting with the stuff. that system works great on windows too.

Works great on wood, chrome, etc.

FK 108 is an excellent product for the interior, tires, engine bay, etc. :woot2:

To take this a step further: when I spoke to (Troy?) at FK1, he also asked if I had home theater equipment (boy, do I!). He said FK 425 on the electronics really helps cut down on the dust attraction.

Anyone who has an equipment rack with DVD player, receiver, amps etc. knows how those components are dust magnets.

Try spraying FK 425 on the MF towel, and wipe down the components.
