Just painted wheels - when to opticoat?

Hey guys,

Just a quick question. I painted my wheels BMW Jet Black, and would like to Opti-Coat them before mounting. The painter said it's suggested to wait 30 days before applying any wax, is this accurate? Has anyone had problems waxing shortly after painting?

Looking forward to your expert opinions. PS, how do you think they came out? :)














 
Definitely wait, the paint needs to cure and the opticoat may not bond correctly to fresh paint. The paint needs time to aerate.
