Just outta curiosity

That one looks like it would be awkward to hold for hours polishing. You could try the Dewalt 443, that has a little bit more power than the PC.
 
Why would you want to do that? Because it goes to 10K? My gut feeling is telling me heat due to friction would be high enough to be causing major damage way before you get even close to 10K.
 
Just because it has a high rpm rating doesn't mean it has torque. I am willing to bet a little presher would stop that machine dead in its tracks. Also, think about the backing plate and polishing pads. It doesn't look like you will be able to switch backing plates at all. Not to mention the way the handle is set up it appears it would be very uncomfortable to use on a car.
