Just ordered the Makita!!!!

Just thought I would share with everyone, Im pretty pumped. My wallet is not but oh well, one detail and its paid for.



Im just excited to finally be getting one!!!



Picked it up at Coastal Tool for 177 shipped. Comes with a bag too!

Good to hear Tim, Im looking very forward to using it, hope I get it by the weekend. Hey Tim, what kind of setup do you have on your Makita as far as pads and backing plate?

You have the same title as my thread when I ordered my makita from CT.com for $177 shipped. It got here in like 3 days and it is a wonderful machine.

Man I cant wait, now I just have to figure out what pad system I want. Edge or LC....

you think the 6" would be fine? How the heck do you wash those pads?

I am REALLY leaning toward Edge right now just for the fact of centering is so easy.

Got my makita from coastal tool...needless to say it was a great deal and that bag that comes with it is hardcore alot more heavy duty than I was expecting. the pads and BP that come with it are pretty much useless though.

Yea i figured the pads and plate are useless, maybe I will do my bathroom counter top with them.....



The bag looked kind of cheap in the picture, glad to hear its a nice bag! Thanks for all your help everyone, I really hope I get the Makita by Friday!
