Just got a new vac...

Since I've accrued more products than I know what to do with and don't want to get a new vehicle or trailer for detailing; I bit the bullet and bought this:

Definitely a nice, well built machine! Great suction, right in line with the Shop-Vac 6.5hp/16gallon I was using. Only drawback is the limited accessories the vac comes with. One multi-purpose tip, 7ft. hose and dry filter. However, the compact travel size more than makes up for limited "toys" supplied.

***Shameless plug, if anyone is in need of a great Shop-Vac with detachable blower and is in the New Orleans area, contact me as I have one For Sale cheap!***

Enjoy

I have the 16 gallon with the blower and it is an awesome vaccum!! The blower works great and that vaccum will suck the chrome off a trailer hitch.

I bought a Rigid 6.5 hp 16gal pro three months ago the plastic hose seems to kink if twisted, the filter gets wet from where the inlet comes into, I solved that by adding a diversion by the inlet. I bought I think it was 10 ft of hose so that I don't have to struggle with the hose while vacing, the 7ft hose that came with it I use to blow with.

The front wheels comes off sometimes but by adding wood screws I fix that. But I like the Vac, its got good suction.

Thinking about modifying the vac to hold two paper filters so I can have more run time before cleaning or changing the filter.
