Very nice! Now why didn't you have it shipped to a dealer closer to you or to your home?

In this weather, I'd have it shipped. But that's me.

This is one sick car!! Be careful, next all the items you can to to increase the HP (like you need to) or to take some of the movement out of the suspension and make it run on rails, new exhausts, flash the ECU, etc. Hold on to your wallet for now.

My advice, join a club that has track time. Take DE (Drivers Ed) within the club while on track. You'll learn more about your car this way than any other way.

My advise also is to have the film put on the nose or face a bunch of peppering on it quickly.

Now, while the weather is clear and dry, go and drive it.... it was ment to be driven!!!:woot2:

Nice! You have good tastes. When I got my Z06 home and went over the car with halogens there were a lot of swirls that weren't noticable on the dealer showroom. You would think you wouldn't have to polish a new car but it's usually not the case. They first thing I did was wash and polish the car.

Sure is purty!!

They didn't show up in the showroom because they had it covered in an oily glaze!! I drove my WRX off of the showroom a few months ago. It looked good til I washed it, then all of the swirls appeared...

You must have had the Department of Scratch and Swirl at the dealer do the car.

Most dealers have no time to properly prep the car, so it's remove all the wrap, wash it, dry it, "polish it" which is nothing more than 3M Machine Glaze and hand you the keys... NEXT...

Even on some high-end car dealers they do not have a full dedicated detailer.

I know my Porsche dealer DOES have a very well trained staff as they do both Porsche and Audi. These guys are trained by 3M and do the job very well. They have the best equipment in both polishers and carpet extractors and steamers.

Willtothewong: originally I wasn't really a vette fan either. Then one day I stopped and took a good long look at the new C6 body style. After a few weeks, I found myself looking at more pictures of them. It was then that it hit me "What the heck was I thinking"? This car is drop dead gorgeous. A month later, I was on a plane to NJ to trade in my MX-5 that I just bought ten months earlier. I am 44 yrs old and I've had 35 cars in my lifetime. Including a few seriously nice 69 Chevelle's. But I must tell you that my C6 is the most satisfying car I have ever owned. Not only does it look beautiful but it has the balls to back up it's aggressive look. It's an awesome blend of style and performance. Sometimes, what we desire was right under our noses all the time.

Good choice Matt,

Patrick
