I just bought an H2 this past week. Wow!! what a vehicle. Absolutely stunning. A blast to drive too! I'm very happy with the purchase. Any how I washed it and gave it 2 coats of Z2pro today. Man, there is a lot of car to cover and tons of plastic molding. You guys that have detailed H2's before can you give me any tricks?

Also what do you recommend on all that exterior plastic? I was thinking AIO or 1z tephenfleger??

H2...little more than that H3 you were looking at :) Congrats! I love them.

Having two around is more than I can handle, but they still get done when possible.

I use a step stool for the windshield and roof (and I'm 6'4"). Other than that, I just wash and have a helper when possible.

I just try to keep the cladding washed/scrubbed well and apply some Meg's Natural Shine when needed.

The best thing you can do to an H2/H3 is get it as dirty as possible, then maybe clearcoat over the dirt so it stays dirty all the time, it's a badge of honor, shows you bought the Hummer for the right reasons, not to be a trailer queen with chrome doo-dads.

Thanks Zane, Yes this thing is a beast!! Yeah the H3 was a bit dissapointing, a little tight inside and GM wasn't making the color they advertise that i wanted. There were also no incentives and were only selling at full sticker! So we looked at the H2 and were amazed at its roominess and smooth ride. We got some cash back and full employee discount. So we indulged in a little luxury here! :D

There is a whole lot of plasic on this sucker! I guess I'll try my 1Z, as that stands up pretty well to the elements.

I'll post some pics soon.

A picture would definitely help. What color is the plastic? Darker colored plastic trim looks great with Gold Class Trim Detailer

I believe it only costs $2.99 per a 10 oz. bottle which seems to last forever.

Why do you have an H2 AND an SUT?
