Just a few pics..

1 Clean WS6

Detailing Rottweiler
Hello all!

I've been so busy lately (which is a good thing) I have not had time to post any pics (or posts for that matter) on my favorite detailing site in a while!! Below are a few of the "good" ones...sorry for the lack of detailed pics (pun intended) but you'll get the idea. When I get a chance to take a breath I'll post a few of my usual multiple post pics and descriptions.

Good to "talk" to y'all again!!

Enjoy,

Mike

i'm sure they're aftermarket rims but that would be too funny if they were actually Mustang Bullit rims. :D

and nice job on all the cars, even the BMW with Gold Class. :p was that a customer request? oh, and i love the 350Z, the reflections are just nuts! :D

Beautiful work with nice, green backgrounds! Yeah what's up with opting for GC? Just to prove the old technique over product point? Well, you proved it! Great work.

Thanks for the compliments all!

NavindraLR and hirosh the GMMG car has 17x9.5" Krager SS rims. GMMG used those rims on all of the Hot Rod Magazine Edition Z's.

Hey Terry!! Good to be back!! I've been balls to the walls busy since late May and really haven't had time to relax on good ole' Autopia! I have a few detailed pics of an 04 Z06 detail and 01 Mustang Cobra detail that I'm going to post in a few days.

GSRstilez Meg's #81 is Meguiar's #81 Hand Polish. Meguiar's calls it a polish but I tend to use it more as a glaze. It does have some VERY light cleaning action and gives most paints a VERY wet almost liquid look. It really looks very much like #7 Show Car Glaze but is designed specifically for clearcoat paints and is MUCH easier to use. It does not tend to smear or streak like #7. I usually apply it by hand with a microfiber applicator but I have seen pics and posts of Mike Phillips applying it with a PC with outstanding results.

hirosh, vinnymack and Buick_guy that $90K BMW got Gold Class applied by MY request!! I know most Autopian's poop on that wax but I wonder how often most of them use it. Yes it's completely gone in about 45-60 days (but I wax that bimmer once a month so who cares), yes it will stain the bejesus out of trim (we're supposed to be Autopians...don't get it on the trim) and no you can't use it in the sun (I wax that car in their garage) BUT it costs $9 a bottle, gives one hell of shine on dark colors and I find it very easy to work with. What can I say...I like it.:nixweiss

Thanks for the kind words Scott.

I have to say that my favorite combo from the Meg's line is #81 topped with #16 (and if I have the vehicle overnight to let a polymer cure either #81, NXT, #16 or #81, #20, #16). I like products that provide a wet look and that combo never fails me on any color. The only problem is I don't like to use #16 unless I have access to a garage. I prefer to apply it to the entire vehicle and remove instead of the woo technique and with #16..even under my easy-up tent that is asking for trouble!

jrocc1212 thank you too for the kind words!! As far as the green backgrounds...that is just the BEAUTIFUL state of Georgia for ya! :xyxthumbs
