I was at the junk yard looking for some parts and came across this hood. I thought that it would be fun to see how good I could get it to shine. Here it is!
BEFORE:
This is after the first step. I used an Edge Black wool pad with Car Care Rx Heavy Cutting Compound with a high speed at about 1400 rpm.
For the second step I used an Edge yellow foam pad with Car Care Rx Medium Cutting Compound using high speed at about 1400 rpms
For the third step I used an Edge Green foam pad with Car Care Rx "The Polish" using the high speed at about 1400 rpms.
For the fourth step I used an Edge Blue foam pad with Car Care Rx "Prep Glaze" using the high speed at about 1300 rpms.
For the fifth and final step I used an Edge white foam pad with Car Care Rx "Grape Glaze" using the high speed at about 1200 rpms.
