Joyriide Detailed: Range Rover

joyriide1113

There is no cure!
Car needed a cleanup besides the drive through washes. This is a daily driver so it gets beaten. The front wheels were clouded (some noob not using the right chemicals), but besides that, everything else came back to life. Paint needs exfoliating to bring back gloss and get rid of those ugly ugly swirl marks we all hate, although this silver hides them well under most lighting conditions. Interior was crumby and the leather needed treatment so the detail went as follows:

Wheels, Tires, Wheel Arches, and Engine bay.
Zep All Purpose Cleaner
Menzerna Wheel and Tire cleaner
Claymagic
Zaino CS
CD-2 Engine Detailer
Z16
Poorboys BnB

Clearkote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze (on glass)

I had to pick and choose as almsot every pic I took from every angle looked awesome. This color came out great.

BTW, before anyone ask, the reason i used 2 LSP was because I tried Megs #21 first but didn't like the outcome or lack of initial slickness, so with some times, quickly applied the trusty Insulator.

Very very nice work as usual Joy! A couple quick questions: where did you get the idea for the glaze on the windows? Did it improve the glass? Second, Did you have any bonding issues with the IW because the sealant was not cured?

More than likely, there will be some bonding issues, not letting #21 cure, but Collinite over it is more than enough durabilty. It still went on and off the same, a little easier actually.

Glass had water spots that the wash did not remove. Clearkote Vanilla Moose has just the right amount of cleaners in it to remove the light spotting and makes the glass really deep and glossy. I took a snap of the glass to show no streaking.
