Jet Black (SMR, AIO, SG x 2) -> pics

I had severe SG haze. I could not take pics of it right after I applied two layers of SG coz it got dark. Two weeks later, and a wash after, here are some pics I took. You cannot see SG haze but I still have some here and there. I am having to keep going over them with damp MF towel.

Beautiful Haze...Ok, only joking. A poster Gebo say that Sonus a Qd sold by CMA for Klasse users will remove the haze. I am a klasse user but I have never had the haze. Since I often recommend Klasse to others, I was thinking of making a home brew until my next order from CMA. A brew of 1/2 ounce of AIO and two ounces of SG and 8 to 10 ounces of distilled water.

Just a thought.

You did not have haze even the first time you used SG? This was my first use of AIO and SG. I think I have a lot to learn about how to use these products.

I've never used QD, too scared to use it. I have to wash and dry the car before I use any polish or wax. So this brew you are talking about is instead of AIO & SG, or just as QD? Sounds like a good mixture, may be I'll give it a try too.

Thanks for the compliments guys :up I could not post a reply yesterday for some reason, Autopia did not let me post anywhere :nixweiss

Today I noticed a my passenger side door panel has SG haze in a lot of places. The problem is it is only visible under certain light. I am thinking of starting over with AIO. May be this time I'll use much less SG, and the two MF towel method. I have to learn how to do this, coz I'll need to do it again 6 months later :)

I also have a Jet Black BMW. It's a 2001 M5. I have only used conventional Meguiars SMR, 3M glaze, P21s wax, P21s PCL. Take a look at the link below and tell me what you think of the photos. I am tossing around the idea to do the AIO & SG, but have always used waxes.

by the way what is CMA?

:shocked :bow :shocked Sam

Thanks again guys. Even with the haze problem I am happy with the results I got from AIO & SG.

AMP99, great car, nice pics. What kind of camera do you use? It seem as if you did not use high enough resolution on some pics.

Ocean side, man that is a bad boy!, great pics too.

Yeah I'd recommend SG but make sure you do not use too much of it and follow all the tips on Autopia. May be top it with blitz like maxshine says.

Anyhow I have a few things to try next time I use SG.
