JEFF'S Werkstatt, great service!

I want to send a thanks out to Jeff at JEFF'S Werkstatt for his superior service. While checking my shipment with FedEx's Tracking service, I was notified that FedEx damaged my package of Jeff's products and was returning the package to Jeff. I emailed Jeff about the problem at 4:30 this afternoon...he got back to me before 6:00PM. Without the damaged package in his possession, Jeff went out of his way and personally dropped off a new shipment at FedEx this afternoon so it would get into their system ASAP. If Jeff's products are half as good as his customer service, they'll be great.

Thanks again,

Robert

I just wish Fed Ex wasn't so slow. 5 days ground from Michigan to Texas is pretty bad. I hope he eventually uses other standard shipping...or lets Patrick at excel detail start selling his product too!

I am suprised they could damage the products though, Jeff tapes them in pretty good and uses air bags to protect the bottles.

I ordered from Patrick nearly 48 hours later and got my order from him 2 days earlier. USPS Priority Mail too.

Won't keep me from using Werkstatt products but I'll place orders earlier than I would with excel.

Its funny u say that scott cause I love the fact he ships fed-ex...I order something friday afternoon and its at my door by sat...I love they ship on sat...I actually ordered other detailing stuff from another vendor that is located in mich last friday and it came this wed...If it was fed-ex, it would have been here sat or monday! guess fed-ex is better for local...

Another interesting shipping note (hijacking thread). I ordered a steamer from Costco. They sent me an email on 12-1 that it was shipped 12-1. While I was reading the eamil UPS showed up with the package.

That's pretty fast!

I got in with the Jett crowd. I just finished applying Acrylic Jett after doing clay, #80, and AIO. Looks very similar to klasse SG but really is much easier to apply and wipe off. I used PC with a MF bonnet. About 5 drops on the bonnet per panel. I hope this is alright. It really looks nice and shiny. I don't have as good as an eye as you guys so I can't tell if it is better than KSG.

Does the 24 hour cure time still apply? What is the minimum wait time. I would like to put a second coat on asap.

I ahve waited 1 hour between coats of A-jett, then waited 24 hours to cure fully...when I do so it seems to really get a nice look after the 24 hr curing time...a lot deeper...

Jeff definitely has some of the best customer service. It's also nice to get some technical information about the Carlack products.
