Who has the best prices on their products or do you have to buy it directly from the manufacturer? I haven't been able to find a place that carries it. I'm interested in the Acrylic Jet Trigger. What are some other products by them that stand out? Thanks!

What about Optimum Polish before the AJT? Or does the AJT work better with the Prime on before it? Thanks.

You should have some base such as Prime (I use Prime Strong) to have AJT bond properly -- just like AIO and SG. Is it ABSOLUTELY necessary? Not sure, but I like the results it gives, so I continue to use both. Well, AJ, not AJT.

Both AJT and AJ work best over Prime, although I am testing them over Optimum Poli-Seal, which seems to be working out well so far. However, I think best durability would be over Prime. Plus, Prime leaves the paint very slick and AJ and AJT glide on over it nicely.

Prime was intended to be used as a base coat in order for AJ / AJT to bond properly, thus giving you the best results in both durability and looks. It's not the only way to go, however it is prob the best.

Normally for light color cars I will go for either Prime or Prime Acrylic and Prime Carnauba for dark color cars. Both AJ or AJT looks great over whichever Prime version you choose.

I don't understand why you would apply a sealant over top of a product that contained Carnuba. does this work ? Also, isn't the Prime considered an LSP on its own ?

Thanks,

Mike

prime is the "prep" (clean etc) the sealant is the lsp. Maybe I am wrong but that is how I see it.

I found Prime Acrylic does better for shine on black cars but prime strong seems to clean more. I have not use JW nuba yet.

I also will be putting AJT over 5050 next month.

Don't know if that will work. Generally acrylics don't like to bond to waxes. You can use 5050 over AJT.

AJT ontop of Poli Seal looked AWESOME for me

looks wet, but its dry!

I've long since left Zaino, enjoyed FMJ, DG & Collinite IW 845 too - but you have got me interested in JW ... which Prime would be a good starting point?

prime acrylic or prime strong would be my choice

Same here, although I have only used the orginal version and Prime Carnauba. I have heard good comments about Prime Strong.

I have spoken to Jeff and he commented that it is alright to use AJ/AJT over Prime Carnauba. I have tried the different version of Prime and personally I find Prime Carnauba + AJT combo looks wetter than the rest on dark color cars.

I would not suggest using Prime as a LSP but you can condsider using Prime Acrylic as a one step product.
