Could be. Vinylex is a product some use, but I wonder if there is something more effective. In the interior, I prefer a matte finish to look like it was originally manufactured-no artificial shine. On exterior textured plastic trim, especially underneath bumpers on older cars, they get pretty dirty, but I don't like to use anything too strong.
