I've got to try this

I've got to say, i've tried all the TurboWax products, and love them, but they really put themselves into bad situations like this on forums. This guy is making the company look like a hack, even though the products are just as good if not better than most ive used.

Remember, you're talking to an expert detailer with many first place show trophies

If theres one thing that i hate about a person its cockiness. I love autopia for this reason. Everyone is here to learn. Even those that are experts dont gloat like this.

BTW, he doesnt even mention what he has first place trophies in.....I could head down to the local sports store and buy myself a ton of first place trophies also....I guess im a MASTER detailer now:woohoo:

OMFG it keeps swirls from ever showing?!

So... does this guy not know what a swirl is or is the QD chock full of fillers?

QD is not full of fillers, its a quite decent QD actually.

Like I said, i'll stand behind TW products, but not their marketing.

God help us.

Drive car in the rain for 3 days.

Use 130psi of compressed air to blow everything off.

Wipedown with QD and never marr the paint.

Oh, man, that was painful to read. Posts like that are why I try to stay away from the (use fingers in the air doing air quotes for this next part) "Detailing" sections of auto enthusiast forums.

It reads like a cheesy infomercial.

One sentence particualry caught my "schill-o-meter". What kind of guy drives an $80,000 Viper Coupe and has a "lunch break"?

:confused::confused: Sounds odd to me?

I'm going to guess silver06vette is someone here....

I've used and reviewed Turbo Wax products in the past. Pretty average and familiar if you ask me. Maybe something's changed since then, but I doubt by too much.

And I've never heard of a girl with a viper before...

Chicks w/ Vipers are cool.

Back when I had my 01 Z06 I used to run to with the Viperdays group at VIR. The best trackdays events I had ever done. They had 2-3 gals that could get it done on the track.

I drove the Viper for three days in the rain, so it was pretty dirty. Sunday I blew off debris (130 psi) and hit the Viper with detailing spray and microfiber towels

Remember, you're talking to an expert detailer with many first place show trophies. If there's one thing I can do well (besides driving) it's detailing. If the finish were marred I'd know it.
