Time to change out the wiper blades.

This fall I have changed to a new supplier, Trico. I was using the Anco Contours prior to this season.

Installed the Trico NeoForm beam blades to both cars at a cost of about $22 per pair (After $15 Rebate).

I'm going to go with no glass treatment on my Fusion, as recommended by Ford Owner's Manual.

A 3.5 hour road trip on Saturday with medium to heavy rains and the wipers performed extremely well on mist to full speed. They were almost silent!

Still have the Honda factory blades on my car. Wiper blades are probably the most ignored part of the car here in the Valley of the Sun. We get duped with sunshine then when the rain finally comes our four year old blades let us down.

Where would one buy the Trico blades?
 
My dad has that brand on his car and seems to like them. I always get Bosch blades and they have always worked well. Last time I got RainX brand blades and they seem to hold up well. My one complaint is the height of the blade. It sits a lot taller and makes the wiper arm look like its not down correctly
 
I replace mine in the spring time before the raining season starts here with Rain-X Latitude or Bosch Icon wiper blades.
 
While some wiper blades do work better than others, i think changing your blades every 6 months (time may vary depending on the climate you live in) with a cost effective pair is a better option, IMO. That way you get new blades twice and year and you dont have to worry about squeezing every last swipe out of your high cost blades or perhaps damaging them during winter or in the high heat of summer ( if snow and ice apply to the area you live in).

Agreed and they work with my factory wind deflector.

One note I don't know who has to have a vendors license (I do). Setting up an account with your auto parts store (pay as you go even) can yield a simple income generating up sell. For me 15% and up off retail plus minor installation cost.(depending on blades and make)
