Its raining!!! What do i do??????????????

i have this lady's car in my drive way rite now, and just as i was gonna start off the car by doing the rims and tires, it started raining!!! what should i do? should i wash the car in the rain, then bring it in to dry???????? thanks

Hmmm I suggest get off all the major loose dirt / grim. Then bring it into your garage for some S&W and if needed, wash in there with light water. Gonna have to skip the wheels I say if it doesnt let up, but it depends if its heavy or not.

Wash it outside in the rain. Afterwards, bring it into the garage for the rest of the detail.

you can clean the wheels ...get the dirt off and bring it inside and dry and prep....

i wash it in the rain then use garage to dry and preporation work.
oh yea i forgot to mention that, it is going to be hard to dry the car, so make sure you use good MF

just wash it in the rain dry and detail in garage, just finished a king air 350 in the rain dryed in hanger.makes for easier rinsing!

Wash it in the rain, dry and detail in the garage. I do it lots of the time.

ah, i got through it ok. the rain was on and off. so, whne it wasnt raining, i got a chance to do the tires. then, as i was drying the rims, it started to rain, DOH, and it got the paint all wet. i ran into the house to grab the keys and pull her in. and wouldnt you figure, when i start polsihing, it gets sunny, and humid, and hot....

Yep, I have no problem washing cars in the rain. Just pull it in the garage to get it dry and go from there.
