It's official...I'm tired

Hail the power of Quattro
I've been up since 1:00 PM on the 31st and this is the first break I've had since. I ran a bunch of errands before work on Thursday night. When I got to work, one of the guys there said "You're detailing my truck tomorrow". It's not just a normal truck either. He has a Dodge 3500 and it is ridiculously big. I needed the money badly, so I agreed. After work, I finished running the rest of my errands. At this point, it's 1:00 PM on the 1st and I'm starting to get a little moody. I lay down to take a power nap and 20 minutes later, I get a call from the guy with the truck and he tells me that he's running really early and will be at my house in 10 minutes. I get dressed and wait for him to arrive. When he got to my house, we hopped in my car and I drove him to work. When I got back, I got straight to the detailing to make sure that I would be done by the time he got off of work. I took 3 breaks, each being 5 minutes, during the detail. It's now 12:30 AM on the 2nd and he just picked his truck up about 30 minutes ago. I'm really out of it and I feel like I'm about ready to pass out. The kicker is that I haven't had anything more than a few animal crackers here and there to eat since 8 AM on the 1st. So now my stomach is in a lot of pain and I have to eat before I go to bed. It was a very busy few days, but I got a lot done and made some needed extra money. And before you ask, no, I don't have any pictures of the truck.

So, how was the last 2 days for everyone else?

No pics? You lazy bum!

We just got our first real rainy day in forever here yesterday, still managed to detail half the day.:rain:

Went and saw Pirates 3 last night and it was torture. One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Talk about throwing something together and relying on likeable characters and visual effects to carry a movie. I would rather see Jaws terrorize the Bahamas in revenge.:rofl

I've been laying by the pool...drinking mint juleps wondering what the rest of the world was doing....NOT!

Sounds like a very productive day and I :bow to you for it....the extra cash on hand is always the kicker for the work to be done....I've found that for food while I am working I keep power bars handy in my work area...and vitamin water or gatorade has saved me...much like you I don't stop once I start...so I need something like a IV to follow me around

I'm suprised that you didn't like the movie Troy. I haven't seen it, but I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Good suggestion with the Power Bars Beemerboy. I drink a lot of Vitamin Water though. An IV setup would actually be pretty cool. If I didn't need the money, I probably would have told him that I would do it on a Saturday when I was rested instead of on a Friday after my night of work. I still feel drained.

I'm surprised that anybody had anything good to say about it. I really am trying hard to think of anything in it that was worth spending the time or money to see.:hmmm:  :passout:

Slacker....:D

:bonk:

Sorry...tired is already taken by rabbi:D

Will exhausted work for you? If not, there's always beat, broken-down, burned out, consumed, dog-tired, done for, done in, drained, droopy, exasperated, fatigued, fed up, finished, haggard, overtaxed, overworked, petered out, pooped, pooped out, run-down, spent, tuckered out, weary, worn, and worn out
