Is Zaino Z2 Pro really that different?

I have been using Z2 Pro over Z1 a bit the last couple of weeks and it seemed normal and then last weekend I mixed a little Z2 Pro with ZFX and used it ,, nothing seemed different in how it went on .. set up.. came off BUT when I went to wash out the small dispenser bottle it didn't even want to wash out with Dawn and hot water .. It left a creamy film on the inside of the bottle..



The old Z2 never cleaned up like this .. anyone else experience this?
 
Sorry you had that problem. I just used the Z2 Pro the other day, and didn't have any problems rinsing out the bottle. When I was cleaning the bottle out, I did have to squirt some Dawn in the bottle , add hot water & shake vigorously for about a minute 3 times brfore I got the bottle clean. I attribute the "clingy-ness" to the fact that the Z2 Pro is a little on the thick side.
 
Yes Jess you are totally right. The old Z rinsed out of the bottle easy and Pro leaves a film. Also, the old Z went on thinner but it takes a little more Pro to detail a car. I think either Zaino changed the base or added some thick stuff, but whatever it is I'm sure that is why Pro is so much deeper and wetter than old Z. I'll take Z2Pro over old stuff everyday.



Yeah Dookie that is something with the Wolf huh. That stuff simply wont rinse out!
 
I had to use a little toothbrush to clean the bottle out. I haven't used the original version of Z2 so I can't say how it compares.
 
wow, i thought i was the only one. with regular z2 all i needed was hot water, not even soap. with the pro, it left the film, i had to get in there with a paper towel.
 
I use disposable plasti squeeze bottles. When I am just about done, I squirt a little Z6 into the bottle , shake it and extract most of the usable Z2Pro out of it. Costs about 99 cents. Better than scrubbing out a bottle...less aggravation.
 
I too find the container difficult to clean now. Z2Pro is similar to the much earlier version of Z2 when it comes to cleaning out the container.



You may want to go back to the other method of using a syringe to mix the Zaino so as to not waste the Z2 Pro. Just use the search function with "Zaino Syringe" and lots of threads will come up about doing it this way.
 
Sounds like perhaps a final follow up by cleaning with naphtha may help. I clean my squeeze bottle caps routine with it.
