Is Woolite Safe on Cloth Convertible?

I use a 5 or 6:1 mix of water/woolite as my interior cleaner since it is safe and effective to use on everything. I will be detailing a new Thunderbird in a week or 2 that has a cloth convertible top and I was wondering if woolite is safe to use on it or do I have to get a specialized cleaner only for Cloth Convertibles? If it is safe to use can I just use the 6:1 mix or will some other ratio need to be used? thanks for the help

I would think that it would be fine. After all its made for fine fabrics. Your problem is going to be the lint from the towels you use if the top is black.

I would follow the manufacturer's recommendation for canvas top cleaning. E-mail them and ask.

My canvas top is made by www.Haartz.com. Visit this site. It may have info about your canvas top.

If Woolite is approved, vacuum, wet down well , use a soft brush for stubborn spots and use a WW MF for cleaning and drying. They do not lint. :wavey

yea..use some MF towels..if your afraid to ruin some expensive ones.. you can go to Costco and buy a dozen for about 9 bucks
