Is this the right wax choice?

So I am just deciding on some things to buy (this bug is getting expensive ;) ) However I can't decide on a wax I want to get! I have a black car, and I love it to shine but with all my research there is so many different products that do it... I just can't decide. I like my cars to look very shiny and reflective, however I don't really want to buy vintage ;)

Would Souveran wax be a good choice for this?

Thanks guys :)

Yes Souvern on a black car looks great. Want to go a little cheaper Natties Blue from Poorboys. CG Pete's 53 or 50/50 is also another good choice.

It's hard to beat the look of Souveran paste on a dark car, but the durability isn't the greatest. To some that doesn't matter, but I thought I'd point that out.

Another affordable wax to try is ClearKote's CMW. Mix up some Pink Moose Glase (50% VM and 50% RMG) and apply that first and your properly prepped black car will look like a pool of deep black you could swim in.

I am not TOO worried about durability as it will be a summer wax, and in the winter time I will be using Collinite 475.

Good choice, Souveran during the summer and Collinite during the winter.

Yep, if you're not worried about durability during the times you'll be using it you'll love the look (and smell) of Souveran, it is truly a pleasure to use.

If Cost and durability is not much of a factor than DEFINITELY Souverän! Poorboys Nattys Blue doesn't have the best durability either but its MUCH cheaper and still gives off a deep and wet shine! Thats what I've been using on my Black Mustang and it looks great but not quite as good as Souverän IMHO.

Sweet, good to know I have made the right choice. Price really isn't an issue right now, since I am living at home and have a very reasonable job full time. So my budget is quite high at the moment. Thanks!

I wouldnt worry so much about what wax to get, id look at getting your paint prep done right first.

but if this helps, Souveran is a good choice. I dont have any experience with it although alot of people who have used it says otherwise.

Don't worry, the paint will be defect free as soon as the summer sun shines and its time to put it on. I will be buying a PC and some pads and some polishes, since its a brand new car I shouldn't need anything too much :D

Souveran - everybody needs to try it at least once. If price is putting you off, wait til Christmas - AG typically has a great sale, last year they did 2 for the price of 1. Find a friend a sell the other jar. Another wax I tried and like on black is Lusso Oro, and CG's 50-50 is great too.

I just picked up victoria concours red, the results are stunning, I should have picked it up sooner and I'm surprised it hasn't been recommended yet! Not only is it stunning, but it's highly under-priced!

when you wax with a dual action polisher, will it give better results than waxing by hand, appearance wise

no it will not

I just got my Souveran Sizzling Shine Kit yesterday. The Souveran Paste is the best wax I have used to date. I'd be willing to say that it has to be in the class with Fusion, and I don't have the Fusion. But the Souveran have taken my vehicle to another level of WET SHINE! If you are considering the Souveran, you will be happy!

I don't know how much the souveran wax costs, but I really like the Zymol Concours. It gives an exceptionally nice glow, especially on high quality european black paint jobs.

Please, please don't feed the trolls.

I appreciate everyones input, I just have one more question, say I was to order it tonight, it gets rather cold around these parts lately (northern alberta in late fall does that) will I have a problem with the product doing something weird while in the mail? or should I just wait till it warms up again just to be on the safe side.
