I am going to Clay Bar...UMD....etc etc when I get back from spring break march 25th.... can I leave my car un waxed? HELP!

Thanks

I personally would put a quick coat on there, and then start from scratch when you are ready...but as mentioned, if bird poo and the elements aren't going to be thrown at it, it should be okay.

It should be fine, however, if you have a spray wax or at least a QD, I would give it a quick wipedown. (OCW, UQD, AW, FK425, Z8, etc....)

QD will take all of 10 minutes. A spray wax will take all of 15...if you have either of these, do a quick run through. It doesn't have to be perfect, protection is the goal, not show.

well I have the FW1 stuff that is like a no water cleaner with carneuba wax...don't know how to spell it... whatever, i might run that over it what do ya'll think?

I would throw a quick coat on as well..you will have to rewash before march 25 anyways to do the other things that you mentioned....why not just put on a coat...the next dawn wash will remove it.....and you will have a clean surface to start with

yea, i just put a coat of that FW1 stuff on, and to be honest, it was not good, a lot worse than I thought it would be, not worth buying. (Someone gave it to me) only thing I have right now... anyways.... Thanks for the help

I would not put anything on it if you are not going to take the time to do it right. It won't hurt the car to sit in a garage unwaxed. Make sure you wash all the dust off properly not just wiping it off.

Logan06GTO- I wouldn't like leaving a car in a parking garage for a few weeks without *something* on it. [Stuff] happens, usually when you're least expecting it. So IMO it's good you put that stuff on there.

Before you redo things on the 25th, you might oughta work out a good plan so you don't find yourself stuck half-way through the job, the way you found yourself stuck after the Dawn/clay. Set aside enough time to get to a good stopping point.

Yea, when I get back I will have a plan... I am going to use Zaino I think..... Seem to be pretty popular on the LS2gto.com website. Also I will be using the UDM.... what pads do ya'll recommend for me to use per coat of whatever?
