Is this cutting corners too much?

today i was a little short on time, so all i did was i used menzerna IP with a polshing pad at 5.5 on my aunty's entire car. i thought the car looked pretty good, and i was running out of sunlight, so i skipped FP II and just went to my sealent. the car looked great, but im still wondering, did i cut wayyy too much?

Well you didn't say if you used an orange pad or not, and you didn't say the color of the car. If it's a light car and you used a white pad IP will be fine alone about 90% of the time. You might want to pick a good glossy sealant like Wolf, or even just a nuba like natty's, if you do this instead of a super shiney mirror like Zaino stuff. Now if you finish it off the next day with FPII and it looks like a mirror, think about the new Z2 it is crazy good, but you still don't want imperfections under that sealant.

I've gone straight to a sealant after IP. If you work it in well enough where there is no haze, I'd say you're just fine.
