Is there a WAUD equivalent for Sealants?

I use MG Quik Wax to dry my car after wax. I don't know if the durability is there but the paint does feel slick after that. TQ.
 
Both Optimum Car Wax (sealant/carnauba/uv inhibitor blend) and Werkstatt's Acrylic Jett Trigger can be used as a WAUD product. AJT is also a true stand alone sealant with excellent durability.
 
Four Star Ult Paint Protectant Spray can be used on a wet surface, although dry is preferred. The Ult Gloss Enhancer can be used wet, but again, dry is preferred.

I dont like using detailing products on a wet surface as I feal your not reaping the products true benefit by diluting it.

Is there a reason you desire to avoid another small step after drying? Or is it just for the sake of time and ease?

I think it is a time and ease thing. I would normally use acrylic glanz for the extra pop.



Many times I find myself hurrying to a spray wash place before a date night with my wife because a clean car adds to the specialness of the evening.



So I have a tub of sorts for such a cleaning and was thinking of pulling my WAUD bottle from it since I have started to go acrylic and did not want to interfere to with future applications of AJ.



So, a question was born...

Did not know that, one would just mist on a wet car and dry?...this may be the ticket.
 
I wouldn't get too put off by the use of the term "wax" on any product label.

I'm not 100% certain , but I'm under the impression that a lot of products now have some sort of polymer or synthetic mixed in.

I think "wax" is just used as a familiar ,generic term that the average person can identify with.



Again ,I'm not the source to quote on this.

Hopefully ,someone with a better grip on the matter will chime in and clarify.
 
Remember waxes can be natural or synthetic. Some products may not bond optimally over a wax even if it is synthetic. It might be best to stick within the same product line for best results.

I usually use Z8 while drying, but I don't think it's mentioned anywhere on Zainostore.com

besides using an acrylic QD, wouldn't anything you put on top of your current LSP affect future applications of it?



How many applications are you looking to have? Are 2 layers not enough? I think AquaWax is definitely LSP worthy. I'm not one who likes to wax every few weeks. The last time I waxed my car it was more than 5 months ago. But AW is so easy to use that it's a no brainer. I find myself applying it after every other wash because #1, it's quick and easy to apply #2 i love its protection compared to the crappy NXT base coat I have underneath it #3 it's relatively cheap.



If I used Z8 like I do AW, I'd go broke. Funny how the Zaino zealots find clever ways to make it last longer, like diluting it or mixing it with Z6. I don't want to have to be stingy when it comes to using my own detailing products.

Good question! I just thought that I could keep an acrylic progam pure and good looking without having to add any wax or a product that would inhibit me doing a AJT or Acrylic Glanz boost.

I am hearing good things about this product but, not sure yet.
 
I usually use two towels to dry with after an ONR wash. Apply OCW, CJ, or AJT between the first and the second wipe. Takes no time at all, though you could argue that using any of these products on a dry car takes basically no time.
