That's what I'm wondering too. I've always heard people say don't use the pad that comes with the PC. But when I look at the white polishing pads on cma,it looks like the exact same one that came with my ultimate detailing machine from cma... So what's the deal???

the first time (and only time so far) I used my PC was with the PC white pad to polish my windshield with Zaino glass polish and I *think* it left swirls (or it uncovered existing ones that the previous owner left)

If *I* did it, I'm really not sure why that happened!

I have a few of them and they're OK to use. There's nothing special about it. I use them as a general polishing pad when I'm trying a new product that I'm not sure what pad to use. It would be good to use with a cleaner wax or maybe with a product you want to experiment with. I don't know who makes it for Porter Cable.

I think it rips off the backing plate at high speeds, and the edge of the metal plate can damage the car. As a pad, It's allright.

I use mine when I do a single step process and do not need to change pads. It is adequate.

Mine fell a part the first time I used it.

All I have used mine for is to set it on a MF to remove things like #26 and #9 etc.
