Is OPC safe for coated wheels

Hi guys 2008 dodge ram with wheels that are clear coated. I assume that the OPC is safe for it seeing as it says it can be used on paint but what do you guys think. I'm just looking for a APC to use on fenderwells, engine bay, underneath the vehicle on certain areas and what not. consider p21s total car wash and megs d103. i'm considering using this on the front chrome grille to remove bugs. I have a hard time getting the bugs off with my normal wash routine maybe i'm too gentle? either way I know i can use a claybar to get the tough bug stuff and grime off because i've done it before but what do you guys think of these three products or another recommendation?

OPC is absolutely safe on your wheels and any other exterior part of your truck. It works great on bugs. You could even cut it 3:1 and it'd still be very effective.

Ehh, since your wheels are clear coated I would get something more economical.

OPC is a tad bit pricey for the job your describing

well i went ahead and ordered the gallon of d103 and the bottle of OPC. I figure use the d103 on tough jobs like the engine bay and such and the undercarriage. Use the OPC on the wheels when need be I also have megs all wheel but w/e i'll find a use for this and I've never used OPT products so hey.

also ordered some brushes for the wells, engine bay and such and i'm gonna try one of those pinnacle bug sponges just on the chrome in a small spot to see what i think.. worst case it's a waste of what 6 bux? and got a claybar just in case there's a few trouble spots I wanna touch up

gotta get this all before fall break that way I can detail my baby so I can laugh in the face of winter and it's roadsalt hell.
