Is NTS7 the new distributor for Sonax?

I read that NTS7 was US distributor for Sonax? Is this true? Is the shampoo the same thing with a different badge? Here's the website NTS7.com

We discussed that earlier. And YES, SONAX IS NTS7. It's just a fancier brand name for the US market.

They make a liquid wax for Ceramiclear too!

I think I was the first "Guinea Pig" for NTS7. It took me about a month to receive the High Gloss Shampoo. I was told it will be shipped this day, then next week, etc. THE BIG runaround. When I did get the shampoo. IT IS NOT I repeat NOT THE SAME AS SONAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is clear, (not yellow), it smells like lemon/orange citrus combination. NOT like Sonax medicine smell, and for the final test, IT DOES NOT CLEAN like Sonax!! I am VERY disappointed in it!

Will NOT get anymore NTS7.They were full of appologies about how long it took to send it out. They offered free overnight shipping on my next order. (Oh Boy that ol'e trick) I was going to try the wheel cleaner and interior cleaner/protectant.Nope not now. I will stick with 1Z and Sonus and P21S wheel cleaners. Will stick with David'sAutopia Sonus. It is the closest to the real Sonax as we can get at this time.Plus we support our forum by buying from Autopia! Thanks David for a great car Shampoo. See my review on it in "Reviews"

Which shampoo did you use?--the Jacques Villeneuve "Concentrated Auto Shampoo 2 in 1," or the "NTS7 Super Carwash Shampoo Concentrate?"

It's hard to tell at first whether you're saying that you don't believe them when they say their product is manufactured by Sonax, or saying instead that the shampoo is neither the same as, nor as good as, the Sonax shamoo you've used previously. You make it clear later in your post, however, that you think the products are not really Sonax at all, when you claim that Autopia's Sonus line is the closest we can get to the "real Sonax."

Well, you're wrong.

Sonax has a lot of products, and in at least two different "lines"-- see Sonax .

The "Extreme" line (which also seems to be called the F-1 Performance Series) appears to be a step above their normal product line, and is what is marketed under various drivers' names. In Canada -- and now in the USA by NTS7-- it's marketed under the Jacques Villeneuve name: see Jacques Villeneuve--Sonax In Australia, until very recently the Extreme products were being distributed under Michael Schumacter's label....but that's dropped off the site suddenly, and now they have just some of the products from the "normal" line: see Sonax Australia.

The NTS7 site has mostly the Sonax Extreme line (under the Jacques Villeneuve) label, and a few products from the "normal" Sonax line under their own label.

Anyway, it is completely inaccurate to say that Autopia's Sonus line is "the closest thing we can get to the real Sonax as we can get at this time."

In fact, the "real Sonax" is alive and well (although not entirely present) in North America, available to us on both the Jacques Villeneuve and the NTS7 sites.

Go to the Sonax site, click "About Us," then click "Sonax International," then click "Worldwide Distribution." A list of the 69 countries Sonax is represented in will pop up.

When you click "Canada" and "USA," both are represented by Newtown Sales Inc., the Canada "Newtown" giving an Ontario address and a link to their Jacques Villeneuve website, and the USA "Newtown" site giving a Florida address (but no link as yet).

Enough said.

IWill NOT explain MY opinion about NTS7 to you. But for everyone else here are my emails from The Presidant of NTS7.

Dear Mr Wilson,

Thank you very much for your enquiry.

We got good news for you - SONAX High Gloss Shampoo is available in the U.S. market under the brand "NTS 7" manufactured by SONAX.

Along with three more top quality products NTS 7 Car Wash (High Gloss) Shampoo builds the range of "NTS 7" car care products.

By the way - the flagship of the line is "NTS 7 Liquid Shield" - a high tech liquid hard wax based on Nano technology that is definitely worth trying. For further information on availability you might be contacted by our U.S. partner.

Once again thank you for your loyalty in SONAX products.

Best regards,

........Jacques Villeneuve name 2:1. I still think NTS7 SUCKS!!Their service SUCKS, Their shipping SUCKS, Their NTS7 "New and improves" products SUCK And for you, YOU S............. Better hold my tongue.:angry

So that's "holding your tongue," huh? You must be a whole lot of fun when you let it loose, then.

Obviously the first email you posted isn't from the "President of NTS7" as you mistakenly said, but instead came from Sonax itself in Europe.

What they're telling you is that of the two shampoos available on the NTS7 site (i.e., the Villeneuve 2-in-1 Shampoo and the NTS7 Super Carwash Shampoo Concentrate), the one you were looking for was the one "brand[ed] 'NTS 7' manufactured by Sonax," not the Villeneuve one you ended up buying.

It's too bad your first order got screwed up -- but these things happen, even to the best of stores (for e.g., just ask DavidB if the Autopian store has ever had order glitches). A good store will try to appease the customer, and hopefully the next order will go well. You say they tried to make amends by offering you free overnight shipping on your next order, but I guess that wasn't enough for you.

If you still want the "real" Sonax shampoo, if I were you I'd order the right one and take advantage of the free overnight shipping offer.

As for your apparent anger management issues (for e.g., your version of "holding your tongue,") why not ask JCrawford to try his Lamaze coaching technique on someone who seems to need it?

Just be sure he doesn't try and get you pregnant first.

As for the "free overnight" shipping offer. I was told in the second week, it will "sent out express mail" Two weeks later it was sent "Ground". The only shampoo they offered on their website was the one I got., The JV type 2:1. All I wanted was SONAX, the OLD type mailed quickly. Thats all. I was not given either. You are right on Sonax making the JV2:1 Shampoo. It says right on the label "Made by Sonax".

Until the OLD original SOnax is sitting in my hand I will continue to use Sonus.

As for shipping problems with Autopia. I am sure they have happen. But not with me. I ALWAYS get my package in under 4 days! That's why I keep using them.

I emailed both Sonax and NTS7 but only Sonax replied.

"Thank you very much for your enquiry on SONAX Gloss Shampoo.

It is true, SONAX is being marketed under the brand "NTS 7" in the U.S. now - with four SONAX top quality products:

- NTS 7 Liquid Shield" - a high tech liquid hard wax based on Nano technology that is definitely worth trying

- NTS7 Car Wash Shampoo (= SONAX Gloss Shampoo Concentrate)

- NTS7 Windshield Cleaner and

- NTS7 Wet & Dry Wipes.

At the time being, the products are sold through DRTV on SPEED Channel, Discovery, Outdoor Life and SPIKE.

For further information on availability you might be contacted by our U.S. partner.

Once again thank you for your loyalty in SONAX products."

So is there any new for the Sonax R2000 wheel cleaner???

Is it just me, or is Sonax making it extraneously difficult to buy their products??
