Is my wax gone?

Car was waxed about 1.5 months ago with the expensive Zymol stuff by a detailing pro. The car doesnt bead water much now. Is the wax gone? Should I go ahead and rewax it?

Ive heard some say it should last 5-6 months and others say it'll only last a month or two.

Opinions?

Kinda hard to say. Not sure if it's some waxes or sealants, but they sheet better than bead, or they sheet better after the initial beading, something like that, lol Which wax was it? What kind of temps, any rain? Good chance it is gone. A few factor's need to be asked first though. Not too many waxes out there last 5-6 months, maybe Collinite 476S.

Can we get a picture of the car with water on it?

surely this must depend on howmuch its been washed and open to the elements?

i know even using the meguiars carnauba wax on our daily hack its lasted 3 months so far and still beads well if its been washed.obviously if its dirty it wont do it much

im now using meguairs high tech yellow wax but havent used it on our daily runner and my escort doesnt come out in the rain so cant tell on that yet

additional info:

Cars probably been washed about 5 times since its been waxed. Car never sees rain and has probably only been driven for about 1,000KM's since...

2000 Dodge Viper... somewhat of a garage queen.

Have you washed it recently? Dirt on top of still-good wax will make it not bead. If it still doesn't bead after a wash, the wax is kaput.
