is my buget buffer ok

I have that one and here is what I have learned over the past month of various use.

1. It makes a huge mess when you use it.

2. It will, IT WILL remove swirls with 3M Swirl Remover; just choose for light or dark colored cars. I got the 3M stuff at Pep boys.

3. Do not apply pressure let the machine use it’s own weight

4. Use it at slow speed

5. Be prepared for Major Sling

6. Pre wet the pad; I used QD so there was no dry part hitting the car

7. Keep it level

8. Take your time

9. After the swirls are remove use WG Pre Cleaner or Klasse AIO, then Seal it…

I forgot, keep the pad moist always

Work the stuff in till a haze; depending on product

Use a Micro fiber to remove

Consider taping trim off, NO TAPE TRIM OFF

there's no reason that buffer should sling any more than a more expensive model. unless you're just talking about rotaries in general.

If you put dabs of product on anything that is going to spin quickly, the product will fly off in all directions.

that;s why you'll want to apply a few dabs of product onto the pad, then dab the pad in a few spots within the area you're going to work on. Don't start the machine until the pad is resting on the surface of the car.

If you don't follow these rules, you'll quickly learn what sling is, as well as what the product you're using tastes like.

Make sure you keep that baby moving on the paint- it makes no reference to being orbital , which is MUCH safer for those of us just starting out. If you don't keep the machine moving over the paint, you can burn through.

You should be fine- just be careful.
