Is Meguiars High-Tech 26 supposed to be clumpy and grainy?

Opened my first can of Meguiars High-Tech 26 last night and was suprised to find it very clumpy and grainy. Had a very hard time getting an even coat on the applicator and it seemed very uneven when applied.

When paste waxes freeze, they often end up crumbling.
