Is Meg's Original QD Body Shop Safe?

So, is Meg's original QD (the red bottle one) a good choice to use to wipedown dust in between polishing and glazing, glazing and waxing, or between layers of wax after the wax has cured?

If not, what should be used?

you do not want to QD between glazing and waxing

it will remove the glaze

also unless you are using a sealant that's a different story but

I don't know of any Qd that that is a problem with a glaze or wax

I guess I didn't really think about it before... Yeah, I don't know why I'd need to between a glaze and a sealant/wax as I could just give it a MF wipedown.

But yeah, if I could just give a QD between layers of sealant (or what about a ONR wash) for those days when you've got to drive your car and don't have 24 hours to let the sealant cure that would be great. Would ONR be okay between layers of sealants? I know it leaves quite a nice gloss after washes, so I wonder if that would cause bonding issues...

“Body shop safe is about painting.

Any of Meg's QD’s are fine between polishing, sealing and waxing whether they’re body shop safe or not.

PC.

Yeah what he said. Body shop safe means it can be used in a body shop with no ill effects on a new paint job.

Doesn't have anything to do with whether you can use it on a dusty car or not.
