Is it ok to under charge just to get exposure?

I'm getting an oppertunity to do a SLK230 for someone who is a computer customer of mine, I haven't charged anyone to detail for them (friends, family).
But here is a chance to get some exposure...

I told here I would do the car for around $100 this will be a full exterior detail.
Car has quite a bit of swirling and I don't even want to discuss what the rims look like (I thought the front one's were black).
I 'm planning on washing, claying, paint cleaner, SSR 2.5 & 1 maybe VM, EP-P and top with Natty's.

I know it's gonna be alot of work but I figure if I can give her car a face lift with her line of business (real estate) it might be worth it?

I'm open to any opinions.

TIA

Sounds like a plan ...
I would tell her though that if anyone asks how much it cost her, to tell them you did it as a favor.

:yeah

Yeah i do alot of favors for people here in my area. Some people might would say i do it for free.

Thats perfectly fine. Two summers ago I did a friend's S320 benz inside and out for $100. That was the only way I could get him to let me detail the car. After seeing my work, he realized how much I under charged him. Now he realizes that he must pay $200+ for this service, but according to him it is well worth it.

Currently I try to do that for the right customers. But I don't wanna be known as the free detail kid. Personally, for me its training and being a good friend :D. Professionally it will help alot on that bill for all those products :eek

I was hoping that I would get that response...
I saw the the car sitting in the lot and I thought it was her's but I hadn't completed the network I was setting up so I waited till I finished today :D
I took her out to the parking lot, where she was parked right next to me she looked at both cars and wanted to know when I could do hers :lol

It has begun ...Good luck man . The best thing is when you go from a neglected benz to a fresh detailed benz the car makes your work look even better . You can't go wrong..
