Is Infinit paint actually soft?

I've been reading mixed reviews about whether Infiniti's scratch shield paint is actually soft or not. Some are actually saying it is incredibly hard!

From my own experience, multiple slow passes of with PC at speed 6/green (course) CCS pad + D151 yielded minimal results.

Thoughts?

I read on a Infiniti forum that owners noticed after letting their cars sit in the hot sun for a long time, that some of their scratches were less noticeable. Maybe the trick to polishing that type of paint is to add heat.

I wouldn't trust anything people on most online forums - I was posting in one yesterday where some guy was talking about how he polished his audi by hand with Menzerna and fixed all the swirls and whatnot (ignoring the fact he started in the sun, and finished in the dark :rofl )

That being said, I have heard heating the self-healing paint lets you correct it faster.

I find it so odd that we have a hard time correcting 'hard' paint but it's just as easy to swirl up as any other paint job. Why isn't THAT part more difficult?
