Introducing marring while removing?

While removing NXT a few days ago after polishing out a good majority marring I noticed that there was some light marring already present, and I do mean extremely light, but I feel that it may have been introduced when i removed the Nxt using excel's edgeless MF.

I hate rubbing any dry towel across my paint but since you cant get NXT wet for 24 hours I guess I will just have to live with it.

Has anybody else noticed or feared this situtation?

Could be the towel or could be any present cleaning ingredients revealing what really wasn't polished out :nixweiss

What LSPs can you use a QD to aid in removal?

Also when applying something such as NXt would it affect bonding if used with damp foam applicator as opposed to a dry one?

Basically any QD in general ( I prefer low silicone content kinds such as Megs #34 FI) but if you are referring to specific matching QDs to LSPs then a carnauba one for waxes like those offered by Pinnacle and Sonus or an Acrylic one like those offered by Menzerna and Sonus for sealants like Klasse. Zaino has its own new QD , Z8. All of these are more so for LSP maintenance after they've been applied though.
