Introducing Emma in Wolfgang

Chicks Dig Comb Overs
I finally have my car in a presentable state. It's been a month in the works. There have been many passes with a PC using IP, FP, Wolfgang's Polish Enhancer (PE), AIO and SSR1. There has been a bit of wetsanding, a rear window replacement and on and on.

Enjoy the pictures and tell me what you think. This is Emma wearing SSR1, PE, and Wolfgang's Deep Gloss Sealant x2

Drivers door Reflections on a nice job. SSR1 belongs in this photo too but I forgot it. Sorry Steve.

Looking great!

Three things.
1. I can't even imagine buying a car off eBay.
2. Your first thoughts had to be @#$%^&
3. You have to be pretty happy about now.

Thanks, it not perfect but I'm getting there. I need to do some touch up paint but I'm too scared to do that right now. I also have a couple of scratches that need removal - one is very long on the hood but very faint. It's so long though that I don't want to use rubbing compound or anything that hazes on it. Maybe SSR2.5 will be the ticket there.

I got a deep discount off dealer price here in this area and it's still under warranty until sept. otherwise I would not have bought it. The cosmetic condition though was far worse than I ever image. You should have seen the interior. None of those before shots were in focus - probably because I shaking with anger when I took them!!

I am pretty happy with it now.

i cant believe this. You named your car Emma too? So did I!!! :beat j/k.... Great Job Dalmore, I bet you can turn that around and sell it for twice as much

Wow. Now that is some fixup job. Most excellent. You took it from crap to beautiful. Beautiful work. You really put your heart and back into that and it shows.

Nice still a little swirls a rotary could eat. But I didnt realize what it was before wow. Thats horrible how can one have a car in such a short time do so much damage.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm pretty pleased and proud of the results so far. There is, of course, more to do ... I'm not ready to take up a rotary yet so I'm keep pecking away at those swirls with my PC for now. Touch up paint is probably my next repair. But for now

This is the best focused I've got of the interior before - and yea, that's a fair representation.
