have any of u guys turned down a interior detail because of its condition/shape its in. i mean would u stake ur rep on it??

I don't turn down the job...but I make sure that the customer has a realistic understanding of what I think the results are going to be....I will say that I try to avoid the kiddie mini-vans and really trashed cars juts because they are harder to clean and I have to charge more and most people are not willing to pay the extra
 
Let them know what it's going to take. Work as much as there willing to pay for it. If they don't want to pay you for a couple hours work that it's going to take, don't do it.

What Beemer said is true. If people have let it get that bad with trash and stains all over, most of the time they're not going to be the people willing to pay to get it cleaned up right.
