Interior Detailing

What techniques do you guys use on interiors, mainly vinyl and plastics, vents etc... Currently i just cover the entire area in my APC then get in with a brush if needed then wipe and spray out cracks with compressed air making sure no cleaner is left behind. I just worry about getting APC into areas where it shouldn't be.

Is anybody here using a tornador gun for interiors? IF so what do you use it on, vinyl or seats ?

Thanks

I always spray my MF towel with the IPA, never on the surface I'm cleaning itself, since it can cause problems with dripping into places that shouldn't get wet. The only time I will spray a product directly onto the surface is when spot treating carpets or spraying a foam cleaner on carpet or upholstery. I also use steam alot for interiors, there's no product usage and it disinfects as it cleans, and it cleans very well. Compressed air is definitely useful for getting into tight crevices.

I've never used a Tornador, but it can be used on everything. There's some good YouTube videos showing how to use one.

Air and a scrub brush is your friend. Spray & wipe is not how you clean an interior.

Make sure (at the end) to get a damp towel and wipe the complete interior (including fabric) down. This will remove the dirt and chemical reminants.
