Interior detailing

Alright so I am pretty damn good at working with paint but, I have never really concentrated on the interior. My question is how can I get a great interior detail without using a carpet extractor, just a shop vac. Also, what products would I need to top it off and how would I go about this process?

I would use Meguiars APC or APC+ and Folex for cleaning. For dressing I would use Meguiars M40 and / or Meguiars Hyper Dressing
