Interior cleaning?

Greetings!



I've been spending a lot of time on the floor of my car lately (wiring up a stereo and some other stuff) and I noticed that the carpet isn't as plush as it used to be and the seats could most likely use a cleaning.



That being said, is there anything out there that would be good to use to refresh the interior a bit? I don't think it needs a full scrubbing but maybe a light shampoo or something similar.



I already have a wet/dry vac but I'm wondering what products work well for this type of task. The carpet is Black and the seats are gray/black tweed.

To hand clean carpet and upholstery:

Cleaning interiors by hand is a labor intensive and time-consuming process.

Methodology

·Vacuum area very thoroughly to remove any loose dirt, grit and etc

·Remove any stains with a â€Ëœspotâ€â„¢ remover (303â„¢ Spot Remover & Cleaner)

·Spot treat really bad stains (303TM Cleaner & Spot Remover or Woolite® Heavy Traffic Carpet Foam)

·Use a pre-cleaner solution, 10:1 distilled hot water/ P21S Total Auto Wash, let solution dwell for 5-10 minutes to enable cleaners to react

·After sufficient dwell time agitate pre cleaner solution with an upholstery brush to â€Ëœscrubâ€â„¢ surfaces

·Mist spray surfaces with hot water

·Brush the carpet / upholstery to raise the nap and loosen ground in dirt

·Vacuum (MetroVac N' Blo®) to lift all the loose dirt from the material

·Using the vacuum, remove the excess moisture, loose dirt and the grime

·Allow carpets / mats / upholstery to thoroughly dry before use

·Once fabric is dry apply a fabric protection (303TM High Tech Fabric Guard)



Note: Use the hottest water use can when hand cleaning carpets / mats

Also I have read here a lot of guys here use woollite diluted in h2o for cleaning carpet as well.
