Interior cleaner- not shiney?

Anyone have a good suggestion for a interior dash and trim cleaner that doesn't leave that slick shiney look but protects everything? Also what is suggested to apply it with, and does it need to be buffed or wiped down with something else?

Thanks guys.

Meguiars Quick Interior detailer or 303 Aerospace protectant both leave a matte finish. I personally just use a cheap MF to apply and buff off.

I have been using the Sonus Total Eclipse. Very matte and looks great. Very similar in looks to 303.

ChemicalGuys Silk Shine Spray Dressing is what you're looking for, it leaves no shine at all and cleans the surface really well!

Besides the smell is great and it seals the surface so almost no dust will end up there as it has anti-static properties:2thumbs:

Thanks for the fast replies guys. Looks like 303 seems to be a popular choice, it won't dry out the dash or anything, right?

dry out? uh no. 303 is basically the top dog when it comes to ultimate protection with a matte finish. no harmful side-effects whatsover. of course unless you use a crappy mf to apply it and not buff it out correctly it will streak, anyhow feel free to use it on your pedals as well.

since you mentioned drying out the dash, which products DO do this?

im using nxt vinyl protectant and quik detailer. are these ok? i heard amorall does?

sorry to steal your thread but its kinda related

I have been using 303 pretty much lately, but did a C5 last week and it needed alot of 303 on everything, the black interior was very much neglected. When I was finished, the car smelled too much of the 303 (it smells like BO to me) and when I was done I ordered a gal of CG Silk Shine, hope fully its what I am looking for. I also have 1Z's Cockpit Premium, but I reserve that for the VW/Audi Soft touch dash/Interior. I find that the Cockpit Premium is uber-matte, like nothing is there at all, just looks new.

Check out Chemical Guys website and take your pick. Great product line, easy to use and great results!

I also like #40. I spray it on a corner of an old (but clean) MF and go to work. I usually will buff it once just to even any areas out that may need it. Leaves a nice natural look after it dries; not too shiny to begin with. Cleans too.

#40 also looks great on tires.

Im a fan of the Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer, and PoorBoys NL.

I've also been meaning to try E1 Nano-Protectant.
