Interior bt: How to clean/remove some mildew?

I am traveling an hr. to detail a 1986 Rolly Royce that has been stored for most of its life. The woman needs it cleaned up b/c she is selling the vehicle (was her mothers). She said it has always been covered but never in a temp. controlled environment.



She told me there is a smell of mildew in the vehicle. What would be your best suggestions to remove it? I figure just alot of elbow grease w/ my normal products should do the trick.

I would use a dry vapor steam cleaner to do the headliner/soft trim and sanitize the vents. Then cleaning the carpet if necessary with proper carpet chemicals for that type of carpet, rinsing with a hot water extractor. Clean/condition leather of course as well and that should get rid of any smells.
