I agree; Interiors are just as important as exteriors! I'd say nice job, but I don't know what you did to it? Can you explain...

I'd like to know what you did and what you used, looks great! I think it's the interior that makes it or break it in a detail. I've detailed plenty of cars that have been TRASHED inside and out and it's something about the interior that makes the car the most enjoyed. The outside could look prestige but if the interior isn't clean it's not fun or enjoyable to drive. It's really the part of your car that works your senses.

This sounds like a really dumb question but... How do you create that offsetting look on the carpet? Are you using a shampoo vacuum and goign in opposite directions? Also, how can you keep a steady hand and do the whole car?? Wow!

The interior looks great, but I dont understand the lines in the carpet. It does not have the finished look of just normal carpet, looks to "busy".

lol What was done do it? no before pics. and I also Like to put those lines in my carpet, it makes the customer think that it is more clean and done professionally. I just use a carpet brush to make it.

To achieve this the best way to do it is through a hot water extractor and a good shampoo. All it is, is pressing the carpet fibers in an opposite direction. He uses an Aztek Hot Rod Extractor which does a really good job pulling the water out. You can get similiar results using a wet vac or brushing the carpet, but not as nice as that. I think eventhough it looks cool to some, it's more of the proof that the carpets were cleaned. I have lines on mine but no where near the uniform like that. The triangular lines are somewhat cliche' in the detailing world.

Looks great.. Although all the trouble to make these lines really has nothing to do with how clean the carpet is, although I am sure it is perfect.. I have done it a few times, but at least for me it takes a lot of extra time...
