Inner Fender Wells

This area of the car is one of my biggest pet peeve areas, I can keep the rest of my vehicles looking good, but the wheel wells are always a problem area.
I have scuffed them a few times and shot them with satin black paint but over time they go back looking dirty, lately I have just been spraying them down with tire dressing to make them look clean.

What are guys doing for this part of the car? I know they see more abuse than most parts of the car from road goo, but there has to be a better, longer lasting method.

I'm not a huge Griots fan but they make a great under carriage spray (pricey but works well).

This is probably not the answer for a wheel well that has been painted by spray can though it may work. It works on factory painted wells as well as plastic wells. You probably won't believe this one unless you try it. Once you've cleaned the wheel well, spray some automotive strength Simple Green under the wheel wells, coat completely and walk away. It's amazing how long it looks good and leaves a slight film that cleans up really easy the next go round.

i would just normally use a diluted APC, scrub, and mist 303 protectant on there or spray some stoners trim shine but i only have 303 for now since trashing my old protectant

I use APC or a tire cleaner such as NXT tire cleaner, spray, scrub with a brush then use left over car wash and scrub again, rinse and dress with AA tire foam.

Great question and a spot that I see people miss (no one this board of course!)

Until recently I used a tire shine spray. Usually No Touch that I pick up at Sam's or Costco. But, I went out on a limb a bought a small bottle of Bare Bones from Chem Guys. I really like this stuff. Much more expensive than the no Touch but it looks great IMO and lasts long too. I will be buying a large refill.
