Somehow I got what appears to be blue ink on my white 06 Denali...it is on the side doors & on the painted side cladding.

Some smears 2 - 3" & small splattered spots 1/8" or so.........what should I use to remove?

thanks far any help..

I would try Sutherland's All Purpose Cleaner - my beautiful daughter went all the way around the car with a Sharpie one night - and the Charlie's removed it like a breeze...

Or L.A.'s Awesome Cleaner - almost the same stuff - just has some lemon scent added.

I had went out and bought those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and they work too, but not as well as Sutherland. And I didn't want to use them on the paint.

I am talking Sharpie that had been set in for 12 hours.

Good luck

I gave 'alky' a try...it removed most of the ink. On the door worked well, but on the painted plastic cladding, it looks like I now have very faint stains?

These stains look as though they are in the cleacoat, very faint, very small, but they are there. I used a clay bar, then tried by hand using ScratchX...but still there

Any suggestions?......thanks for any help

any cleaner type product like AIO...color-x...will remove it....even a cleaner type polish will

I used clay and ink came right off. Considered a solvent, but the clay was handy. Its not that tough an issue. Any all in one product could produce enough cleaner to solve the problem ad allow you walk away with some surface protection until you come back at the whole car - or section.

Cole...the issue is the stain that is on the painted plastic cladding, the stain is into the clear coat...clay bar will not remove, solvent will not remove...the painted metal suface of the vehicle did not stain.
