First thanks again to The Stig and PBMG for letting me try and test the new line of Pinnacle Black Label 850.
Background on car: This is my 2001 Acura TL, after I got my 2013 Acura TL this car has not got the attention it deserves. After 180k miles and 13 years of owner ship the car has endured some abuse from me. For the last year or so the car has been parked outside and maybe driven couple of times a week. With working full time at my firm and finishing grad school this coating was just the love this car needs.
Here’s some before pics

Water spots removed with Pinnacle Glassworks Water Spot remover with white pad on Flex.

The headlights need some attention as well.

Lets get started with a nice foam bath with Chemical Guys Mr. Pink followed by a second wash with Iron X snow soap.

Pulled the car into the garage and clayed with Pinnacle Poly Clay with ONR

Next I took care of the glass with Pinnacle glass works, and then the headlights with Wolfgang Uber compound with white flat pad and finished with Wolfgang finishing glaze and red pad; IPA wipe and topped with Black Label Diamond Surface Coating on the headlights. Next started on the paint with DP Coating Prep. I did not do any correction, with the car being so old and plenty of rock chips it wasn’t worth the time. Coating prep was applied with white ccs pads with speed of 4 on a flex 3401.

In a couple of other threads I have noticed the discussion on what’s the difference between the DP coating and this. I decided to do passenger side of the hood and passenger fender with DP.

Application: Applying the Pinnacle was much easier than when I used DP coating on my wife’s car 2 month ago. I primed the new LC coating applicator with the coating and couple of squirts per panel and spread. The product spread effortlessly almost like a WOWA sealant.
The Car is coated and will be sitting in the garage overnight, the new one will be spending the night outside..

Finished random shots from today, the looks is everything Pinnacle Black Label describes: Glassy.
