Information Overload

Alrighty then

I could die non the wiser trying to shift thru all the info here, even using the search function

I have a 02 Spyder black with some good swirling, gotta luv how dark cars show that so nicely

:(

So i was looking for a AIO, P21s kinda combo ie Prestige kit from autogeek

But what i need is something to tackle the swirling in the paint that won't be affected by the AIO.

Good swirl reducer via polishing vs microfilling so i can lay the AIO on top without adverse effect

I was thinking DACP?

But my knowledge is limited on products available, help me out

Trying to avoid using Klasse SG as it appears to be a pain to remove from other post's I've read

toneyk- Yeah, there's a lot if info here, almost too much when you're just starting out.

Heh heh, I dunno about the whole "SG is tough to use" thing; I find it very easy. But anyhow... I think reducing the marring on your black car should be your first priority (well, after perfecting your wash/dry technique ;) ). The polishing is likely to be enough work that any final-step products had better be easy and long-lasting.

What to recommend is always tricky, as removing marring can be tougher than one might expect. You didn't mention a PC, so I'll assume you're working by hand. This makes product selection a bit more critical.

If you're working by hand, the DACP will be a *lot* of work, I dunno if I'd go that route. If you want to use a Meg's product, I'd look at the #80 Speed Glaze instead.

Here's an idea, similar to your DACP/AIO/P21S but different- try the 1Z polishes. They work well by hand and *do* remove marring through mechanical abrasion. BUT, they do leave wax behind. Rather than remove *that* with AIO and then rewax, I'd just top the 1Z polish with either their Glanz Wax or even the P21S (though *I* would use Meg's #16). I can't recall anyone having any issues with the 1Z polishes. They are almost universally well thought of.
