Informal Poll: Do you always use a written contract with your customers?

Just curious as to how many detailers (full time pro and part timer's) actually use a written document with a customer prior to starting work on a car. I'm not talking about a multi-page document, but do you use something that shows the scope of services to be provided, the price, and do you get a signature before you start? [like a work order]



Maybe I should start a separate poll: have you ever been stiffed by a client who claimed he/she did not like the work?

I do...here is my form. I write down all the info about what I am doing, write down a price and then they sign it! (but I also do pick up and delivery, so I have to have written permission)
