Infomercials

Have anyone ever seen the Adams infomercial on a complete detailing package featuring James Brown of Fox Sports? The product looks pretty good from what I can see from the camera. Have anyone used it? Then what about those products that you see at trade fairs where they burn up the hood of a car for demonstration or the color coded polishes that cover up scratches. They look great, but do they really work?

Ahhh . . . the old light the hood on fire trick. It's a bunch of BS. I could do it to my car right now. The lighter fluid burns the paint doesn't. The worst that happens is you get some soot on your car which wipes right off.

It's not even the lighter fluid burning...it's the fumes above the pool of lighter fluid.

Yes, I have some of the Adam's products on my shelf. I have used their detailing claybar, detailing spray(very good), their detailing towels are some of the best(kind od pricey), and the Butterwax is very easy to use. Looks good but is not great. IMHO.

I have not used the Revive(sp) polish because I already have things that i know that work well. Wanted to try the Butterwax because it is sun friendly.

Was told, by Heather at Adam's, that they are expecting a Butterwax paste to come out early in 2006. Will buy that just to see how it works.
