Thought I would post this for race fans who are already jonesing from the season being over.
My local kart track is running an Enduro Race on October 15th. It's a TaG race, and the karts run about 80 down the backstraight on the 1.1 mile course. This is big-time karting-not little toys like you see at Myrtle Beach.
The track is owned by Mark Dismore.
The cool thing about the Enduro is the entry list, which you can find atNew Castle Raceway . Click on the entry list for the Enduro. A few of the racers so far are Dan Wheldon, Scott Dixon, Vitor Meira, Ricky Rudd, Tomas Schecter and a bunch of others. Should be a great time to get up close & personal with some top level racers (Out of the top 5 points finishers in the IRL Championship - 3 of them will be racing!).
The track is about 35 minutes east of Indy, an hour or so west of Dayton. Come on out if you can... :bigups
